Destruction of the Speed River's natural heritage began today to make way for the $7 million Emma-Earl Bridge to Nowhere. The secretive @cityofguelph gave no warning of the destruction dates via flyers, press release or on its website. Yet another "#FAIL" in this ongoing fiasco.

2023 feels like 2021 where the Emma-Earl Bridge EA is concerned. On Dec 5/22, the #ON gov't issued a response to RSSA's 12-page bump-up request of Sep 16. It stated that our request “will take a longer period to review and for a decision to be made.” @cityofguelph was cc'd. 1/2
