Time is brain. A severe stroke patient is more likely to live without long-term disability if they are taken to a Level 1 stroke center which offers a full spectrum of neuroendovascular care and specialized care teams 365/24/7. https://t.co/jtGnv7EbbP #SurviveStroke#MyCompany
@DrCasteelEM A simple bilateral arm blood pressure is quick easy and inexpensive way to sometimes catch this!
The mortality rate for a dissection is high.. even when caught.. so order the CT.

@NaturallyFTW Stroke rates have not increased and unfortunately African Americans as an ethnic group are more prone to high blood pressure and that increases your chances of stroke both ischemic and hemorrhagic.
@WaitingForPerot@hezzopolis@DiedSuddenly_@toobaffled Drs have many pushing for awhile to try to get athletes screened for preexisting cardiac conditions to prevent this, it’s too expensive and insurance won’t cover it.
@lola_chambless Two things have escalated since 2019 as the top 3 causes of death in kids… #1 gun violence and #3 over dose / poisoning. Politicians from both sides need to address gun control and drugs coming across our border and stop pointing fingers at each other doing nothing!
@PureBlo04676722@DiedSuddenly_ Athletes have been dropping for years. If you look back Drs have been running or trying to get funding for all athletes to get EKG and echocardiogram as preventative physicals because the electrical issues in the heart don’t get screened for . Hence the dropping dead!
@liljinxx143@FoxNews We don’t need other countries to have an occupied base in the us. We are there to keep the other powers from occupying or taking over and yes securing our interests. Do you understand what would happen if we stayed home and kept to ourselves?
