I painted this mural from memory, between 2am and 4am, a 2 hour record, using a torch as a light source in Raila village, Lang’ata constituency, Nairobi.
Hermosa Paints came through for this second mural. Their quality element’s proof paints are a cut above the rest! The first was done under unfavorable conditions.
I started this second mural at midnight and ended at 4am.
Thanks for watching!
Eric called me at 7pm last night, “bro, can we put up a poster now at Kisumu Boys for use in the morning?? A mural will be impossible to do given the extremely short time we have.”, I took the challenge! The exhaustion, cold, low light and pressure to complete on a short notice!
This week alone I have received 13 contracts to sign based on the “The Sunset of an Enigma”. If you are an artist you need to respect your craft bossy.👊🏾
And don’t forget to ignore the noise…
