Watching your Guardians grow, embrace new allies, take down bigger and badder bosses, solve mind-bending puzzles, dodge death traps, avoid Taken boopers, and overcome every Raid challenge we throw at you—all while looking incredible—has been a constant reminder of why this universe matters.

With Monument of Triumph, we set out to create a series of love letters to Guardians, new and old. We shared a preview last week of armor inspired by early designs from the original Destiny but have also sprinkled some winks and nods throughout the rewards releasing tomorrow. We hope they feel like a small thank you for everything you’ve given us.

@Destiny2Team I'm really hoping it -maybe- counted me logging on and doing the free trial during the D2 vanilla days on Blizzard's app to test if I could run it. But I am not 100% if that was on the account that later transferred to Steam.

@Destiny2Team Any chance you guys could relax the requirements for the veteran emblem a little? I've been playing since Forsaken and only couldn't play vanilla D2 because I didn't have a good PC. It feels like a gut punch to miss out on the emblem for having missed so little.

@0npam I've been playing nonstop since D1's first year, and D2 since Forsaken since I didn't have a PC that could run D2. Now I'm missing out on this immensely cool emblem. A final gutpunch

@xiaoguangyuri my gf is both, and seeing people spout their hatred all year long makes me want to enact ancient medieval torture methods on people
