THE LIE: Trump wants to defund the schools that don’t obey him.

THE TRUTH: Trump is making two totally separate points here.

If actually listen to what he said you may learn something.

Here are the facts:

-Defunding the Department of Education does not mean defunding schools.

-The longtime conservative policy seeks to defund the bureaucrat-run department that does not have impacts on schools.

-The majority of the Department of Education funding goes to taxpayers paying off other people's student loans.

-The remaining $62.34B per year is spent on wasteful agendas and bureaucratic woke policies.

-Lately, the department of education has become more assertive on things like “gender identity.”

-The argument for defunding the department of education stems from using the money to directly to schools, rather than funding a n apparent useless bueracratic office.

-On the second note, Trump is saying that he would withhold funding from cities, not schools, who decide to push an anti-American agenda.
