@tackjhompson I pretty much have captions on all the time, even though I am a slow reader, because I have a hard time differentiating individual voices from noise. It all just kind blends together.
@dsymetweets@_cartermp@terrajobst Also, thinks like IntelliSense which make .NET so useful from an inner loop perspective, don't work very well or slowly in .NET Interactive Notebooks. VS is a LOT faster.
@dsymetweets@_cartermp@terrajobst Agreed. And really reducing the friction. I like .NET Interactive work for exploration/DevOps/automation tasks, but the fact that I have to restart the kernel multiple times an hour because something just wonky is a bummer. Python in Jupyter is much smoother.
No matter how many events I'm involved in, going live always gives me butterflies. Happy Microsoft Inspire everyone! https://t.co/iBFnYp1V22 #Microsoft#Events#MicrosoftInspire
So, it's out in MEAP finally! I've rewritten Get Programming with F# from the ground up to target a wider audience using modern .NET. I'll be completing the book later this year but if you can't wait - and want to help shape the book - sign up for the MEAP right now!
@Duncanma@LouisIngenthron MSDN is etched into my soul. So many hours in college and then the first couple of years on the job digging through docs and examples.
