Chimdiebube Onwubiko was received like a king yesterday in Enugu.
He won a gold medal at the International STEM Olympiad Grand Finale in Rome.
He is a star, and the world will celebrate him even more.
This is just the beginning of greatness.
Dude on his timeline: “I have 50 dogs.”
Dude from another timeline: “That’s not possible. I have a friend who bought a Sebastian Mastiff for ₦20 million, and it costs him ₦2 million a month to maintain.”
This is what happens when we try to sound smart all the time.
The guy from the other timeline failed to consider that the dude with 50 dogs probably has German Shepherds, Boerboels, Japanese Spitz, or even local breeds that aren’t as expensive and are relatively cheap to maintain.
Hell, the guy with the 50 dogs might actually have the money to own and maintain 50 Sebastian Mastiffs.
You don’t know it all. You can’t know it all. Eat some humble pie.
When you use the word "crave", don't add "for" to it. To crave already means to have a strong desire FOR something.
I crave for jollof rice ❌
I crave jollof rice ✅
I'm craving jollof rice ✅
Same thing goes for the word "seek" which means TO LOOK FOR.
I seek for your guidance ❌
I seek your guidance ✅
I pray you get what you crave. Congratulations, in advance.
One of the problems we have is that we have chosen to compare real life scenarios to the white man agenda, driven by their movies.
I don't understand how anyone thinks a pilot should land slowly in the presence of an RPG
Our soldiers are humans not hollywood soldiers.
"The pilot could have landed more softly.”
In a hostile zone where urgency is everything, you expect the pilot to be slow, calm, and gentle with the aircraft while inside enemy territory? That’s not how combat landings work.
That's was a real-life simulation carried out by Nigerian Army pilots and troops. The speed, the angle, and the “hard” landing are all deliberate. In a hot zone, you get in fast, you get troops out fast, and you get out fast. Soft landings get people killed.
And please, spare us the “it can’t happen in the U.S.” argument. Go watch real Vietnam War documentaries and listen to the pilots and soldiers who lived it. Ask them how they landed under fire. Ask them if they had time to “land softly” while taking ground fire.
Real life no be movie!
This is just a re-enactment video btw,far from how things work, this is what they want the people to see, doesn't happen in combat like this.
“A Yoruba boy qualified for the Math National olympiads but Alex refused to sponsor him”
I couldn’t believe what I was reading, when did Alex become the minister for education or mandated to sponsor individuals?
See, this is not a matter of ignoring it, a lot of you are sick in the head.
We were all here when Mr Alex PERSONALLY sponsored this competition IN THE EAST, and took the best three from the competition he SPONSORED WITH HIS MONEY, to Rome WITH HIS MONEY, for an International STEM Olympiad, and NOT your Math National Olympiad.
Infact let me go and sleep, before I lose my home training here.
First, you mocked and ridiculed a young girl who came to you begging. She was probably starving. As if that wasn’t enough, you also created content of yourself dancing to a dangerous song that encourages wives to kill their husbands.
And the most ironic part is that the same
"I would rather die than admit to a crime I know nothing about."
A young man in Enugu was beaten to temporary blindness by local vigilantes over an alleged ₦2 million theft. He refused to break. Later, hidden CCTV footage proved his total innocence.
But let’s talk about the ones who DID break. 👇🏾
We grew up watching who wants to be a millionaire, cowbell mathematics competition, spelling bee etc..
Now we’re stuck with BBN, peller and the likes and you can’t see the problem?
Flying Toke Makinwa and over 1,400 useless delegates to Dubai was apparently affordable.
But sponsoring a few of Nigeria's brightest minds to China to represent the country at an international mathematics competition was not.💔
Fvcking retards!
This is a horrific video of a young boy set on fire in Okodi, Bayelsa State, over the alleged theft of a few pieces of wood. Reports show the minor had already confessed, apologized, and settled the matter through community discipline.
What happened next is pure evil. 👇🏾
Unfortunately, most people in this part of the world don't do that.
When u kick against values that is wrong, a lot people will ask you. " how much u get"?
