@JoschuaKnuppe@DragonsofWales Hypothesis: it would seem there are a number of people who dislike hyper realistic high definition textures. As evidence: I offer, the backlash against literally any video game where the adult woman characters are made to look like actual irl adult women.
@DannyVegito@Riamus01 Palpatine’s machinations were well under way, and would have occurred regardless. Qui-gon’s actions literally set in motion events which led to Palpatines down fall. The universe moves slowly, people would do well to remember that.
@Gebo___ @NoGunsInCanada People rightfully point out the water usage of Golf courses all the time, especially in drought stricken areas. Perhaps you haven’t been paying attention for very long.
@astrapionte@TetZoo I would guess that if the skull has big crests then it should be more like the bottlenose whale and if it doesn’t then more plesiomorphic odontocete (dolphin like) with additional variation depending on beak length. Not sure you can predict the shape with any degree of confidence
@ARGAtheropodfan@TM9380@JoshuaGoji You know, we could probably test this…examine the bones for any predation signs inconsistent with a juvenile sized animal.
@tm_front@GET_AWAY_TRIKE This “specimen” is a paper mache model constructed for the Smithsonian Pavilion at the 1901 Pan-American exhibition. https://t.co/k3iYsRpo0x
@ARGAtheropodfan The frill, not to mention the rest of the skull, is a poorly reconstructed mess of mostly plaster and cardboard. It could be Torosaurus, but there’s literally no reason to believe it is. No Torosaurus has a distal squamosal that deep, for starters.
@Riamus01 Um except it wasn’t just an “artistic interpretation or trope ” it was the best supported hypothesis until we got actual verified skin from a T. rex. You’re literally being the example of what Tyler is talking about.
@SumaYVive@Elvis_y_punto Light refraction off the microscopic structure of the muscle fibres. It’s not a sign that the meat is bad, just that a really sharp knife was used.
