Destiny: Time of Remembrance. Bring back everything from S1 forward, make it available for players to experience the COMPLETE story, and access all seasons.
Allow players to choose which past season artifact they want to use.
Make all past raids/dungeons armors have set bonuses and tiers and weapon perk pools changed.
CLAN HOUSING! Display achievements throughout D2, achieved by at least one clan member required. This can be seals on a wall, trophies and artifacts from past seasons, World 1st belts/trophies for those who have them, and more. Location would also include access to the Postmaster and Vault.
You could have locations as an option to give a view out a window such as The Tower/Last City and Neomuna, maybe Dreaming City and Eternity as well.
Allow a weapon rack on the wall to show off favorite weapons and/or an armor rack mannequin to display an a fashion set. Obviously not ALL trophies and artifacts would need to be displayed as the amount of space required may be considered to be too much, but allowing some and potentially expanding out could be a possibility.
Not having The Helm as a quick Postmaster location anymore is a bit frustrating, especially with tower load times, and we also don't have a location where we can see current achievements like with seasons giving us wings such as the Aquarium, and the things we gathered in those seasons such as the Radiolite in Echos or Calus bobble-heads in Haunted.

Obviously, D3 would be awesome, but that's not going to happen. It would take years, Bungie doesn't have the resources, and the community doesn't have the patience.

So instead of doing more Edge of Fate and slowly kill the game, why not:
- Drop old consoles and significantly improve visuals
- Re-release most gear with Tiers
- Re-release Y1 Exotics with a random perk + catalysts
- Re-release old campaigns with that new loot
- bring back an improved weekly reset
- other stuff I can't brainstorm on my own

It'd be a proper Age of Triumph for D2.
