I’m not absolving Hurts for his role in the Eagles ineptitude; he hasn’t played consistently great, it’s true.
But I’m still giving him latitude on learning his 6th offense in 7 years. Honestly, it makes the absence of steadying influence from the Head Coach even more apparent.
There have been wrinkles and some stuff that different OC have brought in but feel like stuff will be working even dating back to last year with KP that I seems like the HC puts his hand on the scale not in terms of what to call specifically but tempo or aggr/conservative
Wouldn’t mind a reset next year. Whether by circumstance or whatever think try and see what QB can do within a complete true overhaul for a year and then take it from there
Also is the decision to not kick which ig could go either way but one of the reasons why offense has been bad for 2 years is a lot of dumb penalties that puts them in the hole and can ruin good drives. If it’s multiple season thing I put on the HC especially “CEO” type
Just take the points and put your team in best position to with all the injuries and weather. Get the win so that later in the season and *maybe* if you figure shit out then you have that win in back pocket
Completely impressive that you have all those injuries before and during the and are close/in position to win game and bc of dumb ass they are going lose
