I mean, these are Venezuelans being moved to El Salvador—to one of the worst prisons in the world. And the notice they were given? Documents in English that they couldn’t even understand.

That’s the kind of thing I think is really going to stick in the craw of the Supreme Court. When they say “reasonable notice,” it can’t possibly mean handing someone a paper they can’t read, giving them 12 hours, and then shuffling them out of the country to be locked up—potentially for life—in the most dangerous prison in the Western Hemisphere. And that’s saying a lot. I just don’t think that’s going to fly.
