Members of the five teaching unions & four non-teaching unions are taking part in strike action on Thurs 18th Jan as there has been no resolution to the pay issue since 2020 & it needs to be addressed. Please support our invaluable staff.

Congratulations to our Cross-country teams which competed in Nacarne Centre, Irvinestown this week. The girls were place first and the boys were second in their respective races, with Liam winning his race. Roisin, Leila-Rose and Oliver came 1st, 2nd & 3rd in their Fun Runs.

MINI VINNIES: Grab & Go!
There has been a tremendous response to the Minnie Vinnies “Grab & Go” event which raised £573.55 for St Vincent de Paul. Thanks to Mary and the Minnie Vinnies for organising this event.
Congratulations to Cillian Slane who met one of his heros; David Williams, comedian, actor, writer and television personality. Cillian recently got a certificate for reading the most words in his class and he says it’s thanks to David Walliams - he loves his books! Well done!
Teachers' Strike
Given that there has been no progress toward a resolution to the ongoing teachers’ pay dispute, the Teachers' Unions have instructed members to engage in strike action on Wednesday 29 November 2023. The school will be closed until 12.00 noon.
STRIKE ACTION: 16th November.
The support staff in our school are invaluable to the learning, development and safeguarding of your children and should be paid fairly for the essential and very challenging jobs that they do.
