Incidentally, this is exact sort of sentiment Steve would hate. Simply put, he was a man who valued dignity and human kindness, and showcased remarkable personal growth over the years.
Condolences to all his loved ones. RIP
Steve Albini changed my life.
Countless classic records, insightful music writing, and an unwavering drive for fairness & generosity that made him truly unique.
Getting the chance to record with him will remain one of my most treasured memories. Thank you for everything Steve.

A reminder what an actual feminist looks like.
Not once did she play victim like the mediocre anti-trans trolls who claim that title fraudulently.
She was strength and love, not tawdry hatred and batshit conspiracy theories.

In life, art and activism, Sinéad took punk’s essential spirit of resistance and made it her mission. During arguably the celebrity witch trial of the modern era—and over three decades of barely-concealed derision from the press since—she was pure conviction with a sacred heart
Joe Pesci opened the next episode of SNL saying he wanted to smack her in the mouth. Sinatra said she needed "her ass kicked". Her records were pulled from airplay and burned and bulldozed in protest. She was more brave, and more right, than she ever got credit for.
