@animalsfiji @ICAMcoalition Red tape & bureaucracy can be frustrating & defeating. @animalsfiji had to wait EIGTHEEN months for Ethics Approval from the Fiji Ministry of Health to conduct their survey on human contributions to free-roaming dogs. Thoughts on training vet techs to perform spay/neuters on dogs & cats? 🤔 it's probably a good solution to alleviate the burden on the shortage of vets in North America. After all, it's the most common surgery for companion animals. @AVMAvets @CanVetMedAssoc @communitycatsp1

Dr. Jeff Young of @PethoodPlanned says that #spayneuter clinics should evolve to include other vet services (i.e. dentals, etc.) in order to offer a wholesome care approach. Agreed! However, it always comes down to funding 💰
