It’s the last week to apply for our academy for previously ILEA certified officers. I was certified when I applied and never regretted it. If you live where we need Troopers (almost everywhere) you won’t have to move. Don’t miss the chance for a shorter Academy. Apply today!

Are you a certified officer in Iowa who would like to be a trooper? Now is your chance to apply, AND participate in a shorter DPS Academy. This is likely a “one off” and won’t be an annual event. Apply now!

We do important work at the Iowa State Fair. This is one of our command staff, helping a little boy find his parents. Note their hands.

Got to be in the Iowa State Fair parade in this! It was built the same year the Iowa State Patrol started. It was a blast!
