*Mobile operator* that charges calls/SMS outside my contacts a nominal fee and credits my account. No more robo.

I now have a dilemma of whether to unfollow a bunch of news outlets on Twitter that aren't helpful anymore. That might drastically decrease the freshness of my feed, but what's left will be more concentrated relevance. Hmm.

@rirving I gave ChatGPT a coding question I used to use. It's a hard multithreading question. It's also unique AFAIK since it was based on code I wrote in 2005.

I was amazed that it came up with the ideal solution the first time, and even adapted it to answer all my "extra credits".

@visigoth Impressive. I gave ChatGPT a pretty tough multithreaded C++ problem to implement a thread-safe completion port function, and a "get" API that waits on the main thread.

ChatGPT supplied a perfect answer. Even got some extra credit followups. Better than most candidates. Whoa.
