This past Thursday, June 26, 2025, I had the privilege of discussing the power of @NewsAssistAI at the @cijournalism summer conference in London.

I was invited to share how I've been leading our small investigative newsrooms @ColonistReport & @TCRAfrica to use AI to investigate and analyze more than 3,000 pages of documents to hold the government accountable. I shared our experience, tactics, the brains behind it, and the powers of NewsAssist AI.

I am really grateful to the CIJ for inviting me this year. When Marina Calland sent the email and asked if I would be around in June to be one of the speakers, I knew it was another opportunity not just to share my knowledge and work but also to meet great people. I honestly don't take such opportunities for granted, and I certainly met great journalists, editors, founders, and veterans, whom I also told about NewsAssist AI. Trust me, I carry my shoulders very high each time I speak about NewsAssist AI because it's truly helping journalists and newsrooms.
