We did some multisensory learning of zoos and zoo animals today in celebration of National Zoo Lovers Day (which was on April 8th). Check out these phenomenal creations!
Students conquered the longest Breakout of the year with flying colors! Every single group completed this TWO HOUR Breakout and Campus Scavenger Hunt activity π So impressed with these students perseverance and critical thinking.
Mrs. Reyes and Ms. McCohn brought their classes in today for some creative expression as well as some calming activities π We had some students find their creative side today even though they were sure they didnβt have one!
I was able to spend 2 days with these amazing scholars while they started their research on their African American Studies topics! Canβt wait to see their final presentations!

We had an ocean-themed day today where we drew our own manatees, made our own starfish, and moreβ¦including learning what a dugong is! These students are so amazing!
