The level 8 students learned about tension structures to introduce prisms and 3D shapes. To show their understanding, they constructed tensile bubbles.
Our level eight math students found the average drop height for 4 rubber bands then used that information to write a linear equation to determine how many rubber bands they needed for a 12 foot drop.
We are happy to report that no princesses were injured in the bungee drop.
Our level three students are mesmerized by their new 3D printer in Mrs. Marantino’s room. Our remote kiddos will have the chance to design a project too!
Students in Mrs. Hughes’ science class are taking their learning outside to observe and make scientific observations of the insects in our community. 🐜 🐛 🕷
