Fall colors have peaked early this year in the Colorado Rockies, but a sunny Sunday made for a great hike to Rainbow Lake near Frisco and around Copper Mountain. Let’s hope the snow isn’t too far away.

First signs of seasons changing, a dusting of snow above tree line on Pikes Peak after thunderstorm…hopefully a sign of a big snow year for the Rocky Mountain region and western US…we need it after last year’s snow drought.

@NWSPueblo @NWSBoulder High clouds and layered mountain wave clouds produced another spectacular sunset looking over Pikes Peak from on top of the Palmer Divide Colorado.
The hits just keep on coming with another fiery sunset from on top of the Palmer Divide in Colorado. High clouds making for the spectacular sunsets are the result of the AR affecting the west coast. Unfortunately, that means mild weather here in the Front Range of Colorado.
