My Iranian mother collapsed on the morning of Christmas Day. The volunteers of Hatzola were with us within five minutes: their service is literally a life-saver. The thugs who firebombed their ambulances celebrate the culture of death.
- Jews launch an ambulance service
- Funded by Jewish community
- Jewish volunteers run it
- Free for everyone
- Save lives
"HOW DARE THEY?!?!"
Do you understand why we Jews look so tired all the time?
The Israeli hostages should be released immediately.
Hamas should agree to step down and leave Gaza, and there should be a new Palestinian government.
Humanitarian aid should flow immediately and freely to the Palestinian civilian population in Gaza.
Gaza should be rebuilt.
@kirawontmiss Tipping should not be a percentage of the bill. A server waiting on someone for an hour on a $30 bill shouldn't get less than someone spending the same time on more expensive food. Just because the food is more expensive doesn't mean that the service should cost more either
Boulder, CO - authorities have arrested a man by the name of Mohamad Soliman in connection with a possible terror attack on a group of Jews.
Soliman was said to have dressed up as a landscaper when he threw Molotov cocktails at the group, burning several including children.
As a Bedouin, I just love it when Westerners call us Palestinians while claiming Israel’s an ‘apartheid’ state.
Meanwhile, more and more of us Bedouins are signing up for the IDF, fighting for our country.
Guess no one told us we’re supposed to be oppressed!
If Lebanon cares so much about solidarity with Palestinians, why do they force them to stay in refugee camps?
Palestinians in Lebanon are denied basic rights like owning property, and almost half of them live in overcrowded, impoverished refugee camps. They are banned from working in 39 professions, including lawyers, doctors or engineers.
People sometimes ask me, “What happened to you, Brianna?” October 7th happened.
I used to believe the entire progressive storyline about Israel. But when I started seeing people on my own side claiming that women tied up in the backs of jeeps, pants covered in blood were not being raped, that just seemed insane. So I realized I had a responsibility to research the history and form better opinions.
And it turns out there are entirely valid reasons Israel aggressively defends itself. And you keep going further and further back in history, and every part of the progressive storyline about our Middle East policy is built on misleading history and bad logic. Theocratic Islam really is disrupting western democracy throughout the world, even if it feels uncomfortable to admit it.
Then you see people on your own side claiming things day after day that are objectively untrue, such as the fact that a war with the lowest ratio of civilian deaths in modern urban warfare is a “genocide,” you understand you’re on a side that morally front-loads information to force people to arrive at faulty conclusions.
So you ask yourself what else are they lying about?
And it’s a lot. There’s a lot of stuff I’ve felt was insane for a long time and I just have kept my head down because it’s easier. I’m not willing to become the left-wing version of the Republican fringe.
I am a progressive in the sense I think our public policy needs a massive reworking to focus on the working class. Dignity for trans people that medically transition is one of my top policies. We need criminal justice reform. We need to fix our broken healthcare system. We need to invest massively in public housing.
But I also now understand I’m standing next to some people that are just congenitally dishonest. And frankly they’re antisemitic.
It’s not easy pushing for a new direction from the Democratic Party and progressivism but that’s what I feel compelled to do.
Students for Justice in Palestine is demanding a boycott of Hillel, a Jewish institution.
We are supposed to pretend, for the sake of political correctness, that SJP is simply criticizing the Israeli government rather than targeting Jews.
Attacking Jewish institutions, however, is not criticism. It’s antisemitism.
@aziz0nomics Also, getting into semantics means that the sentiment is agreed upon. The argument agrees that they hate Jews, but only disagree what to call it.........
1/ Why should Israel exist? It’s a “settler-colonialist” atrocity, right? Didn’t they just steal the Palestinians' land in 1948?
No. The truth is, no one knows more about getting genocided and kicked out of their homes than the Jews. I’m not a historian, but with all the heated Twitter conversation, I thought I’d read a book or two to have an informed opinion about Israel/Palestine and whose home the region is. Is Twitter’s portrayal of Jews as warmongers who stole the Palestinian’s land accurate? Or is this a selective, one-sided history?
It is wildly one-sided and ahistoric.
If you truly care about people living in peace and safety and not getting “settler-colonized” you should STRONGLY support the existence of Israel. This thread will educate you on the 2,500 years of history BEFORE 1948. It will explain how the land of Israel is the historic home of Jews, how they were slaughtered and evicted repeatedly in an event called the Jewish Diaspora. And as long as this thread is, it’s going to be a FRACTION of a FRACTION of the atrocities.
As an Israeli Arab I have:
- Full Israeli citizenship and passport.
- Voted 5 times in 5 national elections in 2.5 years.
- Freedom to practice my faith without persecution.
Just like the rest of the 2M Arabs who live in Israel.

@aziz0nomics Israeli and Jewish people wouldn't spell it this way either. Hebrew has the same pronoun הוא that would make it "he is" and we know what the phrase is and how similar it is in Hebrew

QUESTIONER:
Does calling for a genocide of Jews constitute harassment?
MOST AMERICANS:
Of course.
HARVARD & UPENN:
It is “context-dependent.”
Something is rotten in the state of college campuses, where the loss of moral common sense is not a bug but a feature.
