Former UAB/Saint Louis/LSU/Georgetown big-man, Brad Ezewiro was committed to San Diego, but had his Medical Hardship waiver denied.
Ezewiro played seven games in 2021-22, and just one after the New Year.
I’ll be honest, I really have no clue what makes someone eligible for a medical waiver and what isn’t. Felt like in the past it was if you played after the New Year, you probably aren’t getting a waiver. Ezewiro played one game after December 2021, but so did Malik Thomas and he got a waiver. I honestly think both should’ve gotten waivers. But trying to figure out who’s eligible and who’s not is much more confusing than it needs to be.
UAB forward Bradley Ezewiro tells @LeagueRDY he’s heard from these schools since going portaling:
USC
Washington
Oklahoma State
Rhode Island
Nevada
Saint Louis
Grand Canyon
George Mason
Fresno State
Tulsa
Long Beach State
He averaged 7.2PPG and 4.5RPG this season. Averaged 12.0PPG at SLU in 23-24.
Based upon communication received Friday night from the NCAA, SLU junior forward Bradley Ezewiro will be in uniform Saturday night against Louisiana Tech and is eligible to compete for the Billikens for the remainder of the season.
