Republicans and Democrats both love talking about how much they support our military and veterans. But where is that support when it actually matters?

Months ago, I contacted my congressman asking his office to look into an issue and bringing attention to concerns involving the VA. I haven’t even received so much as a confirmation email acknowledging my message. Nothing. Complete silence.

I’m tired of watching politicians use veterans as political talking points while actual veterans struggle to get someone to listen.

I don’t care whether there’s an R or a D next to your name. If you’re going to campaign on supporting our veterans, then DO YOUR JOB when one reaches out asking for help.

Veterans deserve accountability, not campaign slogans.

I am gay. Trump put gay men in the Cabinet and treated us like citizens. Democrats put us on a flag, sold the movement to gender ideology, and then imported cultures that still criminalize gay men. Now they want the gavels so they can hunt a family instead of securing a country. I vote for the administration that let me live. Not the caucus that needs a villain.
