i got called a faggot more times than i did during the entirety of the last year for posting this 👍
my point still stands: banning harmless OSS projects (such as crypto) on OSS platforms is not good for open source. baseless restrictions are always a very slippery slope.
it gets worse when you consider the context, such as: unclear phrasing that allows for leeway in legal documents (ToU), incorrect phrasing in platform's alert banners (which i posted and referred to), unclear goals and intentions, and locked conversation threads. it's messy, not transparent, and will result in random "innocent" projects being taken down. it's only a matter of time until a random project is taken down because someone deemed it "LLM-generated", there's no real way to prove it's not.
calling me slurs will definitely change my mind and make me believe that OSS should be limited to a certain list of "allowed" categories, controlled by randoms on the internet, and all crypto is bad because scammers exist. let's also ban all of the internet because scammers can use it to scam people, shall we?
aggression is somehow the first emotion that pops up in a lot of people when they don't understand something, it really shouldn't be this way.
@caramelizatiion Nah but the intentions were clear

Game idea: AWPDAABS (At What Point Does An Asym Become Symmetrical)
A game that's framed as if it were an asym, but is actually a 6v6 hero shooter.
