The serving soldiers are helping the nation in its effort to fight the pandemic. I wish if our veterans can also come out with some contribution in the time of crisis. We just hear a lot of wrong being done against them but they are not to be seen now.

@rahulkanwal This is the time for veterans to rise to the occasion. Community of Veterans with their experience and expertise in multiple domains and having decades of experience in humanitarian assistance on different occasions, is the most favorable entity to lend support to the migrants.

I think one should ignore such handles. Policies are made and amended to improve the system and to stop misuse

You got your disability in Kargil I suppose ....Your unit also knows the truth about how you got your disability pension. @SinghNavdeep @adgpi I think it would be wise enough to conclude by the date on the letter that Gen Rawat during his tenure had initiated the noble step and hence it would be unfair to take the credit away from him.
You would know the procedures and time delay involved.
