It’s considered plausible by 99% of the population, but I’ve shot nearly every large big game mammals that live in North America (elk, mule deer, moose, white tail, antelope) and many African game (gemsbok, wildebeest, kudu, impala, zebra) I have shot all with a 30-06, that neck wound was not a 30-06, yes a bullet does weird things.
