So, house bill 322 has passed in Tennessee with bipartisan support.

The bill heightens school safety for public and private schools.

The bill will require schools to:

• Lock exterior doors while students are present

• Conduct bus safety drills and armed intruder drills

• Install classroom door locks and secure visitor entry vestibules

• Have threat assessment teams

• Perform annual active shooter training for security guards

Sounds like a no brainer, right?
