Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow!
Walmart used blockchain.
IBM used blockchain.
Microsoft, Pfizer and Epic Games all experimented with blockchain technology.
So why hasn't enterprise blockchain become mainstream?
In his talk from ColuxChain 26, @filipeV3nancio (Tech Lead at @keyrock) explains why public blockchains create a major problem for businesses and why privacy could be the missing piece preventing widespread adoption.
In this session, Filipe covers:
โข Why public ledgers create challenges for enterprises
โข How Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZK Proofs) work
โข Why privacy is essential for the future of blockchain
โข What comes after ZK technology
โข The next evolution of Web3 infrastructure
If you're interested in blockchain, privacy, cryptography and the future of Web3, this is a talk worth watching.

You can't understate the importance of security in web3.
Everyday we're seeing:
- huge exploits
- smart contract breeches
- social engineering
In the age of AI, perhaps we have a new answer to these problems.
Or maybe we have an even bigger issue.
Check out this great talk from ColuxChain26 with Mudy Edogun, @thewritingdev and @murtuza_merc where they discuss this exact topic and more.
20 minutes of your time for a lot of learning about how AI is changing the game in blockchain - go give it a watch!

Come down and see what's being built right here in the North of England!

If you want to support real builders, you have to meet them where they are.
Thatโs why SWC isnโt just based in London.
Our ambassadors are across the UK, connecting with builders, understanding their needs, and bringing them into the movement.
Last month, that looked like @TheDePinCat hosting in Leeds with @ColuxChain.
Grassroots communities might start online, but theyโre built in real life, together๐ก๏ธ
It all begins 27th May...
The first date of the Web3 Yorkshire Tour will take place at Salon Madre in Leeds!๐
It's free to join us and we can't wait to see everyone again after ColuxChain 26 last month๐ฅ

Events like @ColuxChain remind us what this is really about.
Local builders. Local communities. Real momentum across the UK.
Stand With Crypto exists to support grassroots advocacy, champion innovation, and push for a pro-growth future for digital assets in Britain.
Great to see our partners @SuperteamUK and SWC Ambassador for Yorkshire @TheDePINCat supporting on the day.
We're excited to see how far this Leeds-based community can go.
I just wrapped up an intense session at @ColuxChain discussing how the conversation around AI and DeFi has shifted from optimism to a very necessary kind of paranoia.
We are seeing a huge shift where anyone can now build complex trading bots but that does not mean the playing field is suddenly level. The institutions still have the capital and the compute power to stay ahead.
The most important thing we discussed is how we view these AI agents. They are basically interns. They are fast but they have terrible judgment. If you are building with them you have to treat them that way. You sandbox their access and you never give them the keys to everything at once.
We also touched on the fact that the weakest link is no longer the code. It is the people. The recent Drift hack showed us that even perfect smart contracts can be drained if the humans behind them are tricked. AI makes social engineering attacks much cheaper and way more convincing.
My main takeaway for anyone in the space is to put a human wall in front of every major transaction. Do not just sign a digital signature. Demand that your agent explains what it is doing in plain English first. If you can't understand the move you shouldn't let the agent make it.
It was an honour to represent @StandWCrypto_UK at @ColuxChain 2026 yesterday in @UniversityLeeds.
There were so many interesting presentations on agentic AI, community building and more, as well as so many engaging conversations before, during and after (in a pub).
It was also great to close the event with a speech focusing on debanking and the past, present and future of crypto, bringing in examples from @CryptoKitties, @kula_dao, @WorldMobileTeam and @fuseenergy.
A few key takeaways (not exhaustive):
๐ก RWAs, DePINs, AI are hot but need compelling storytelling and a new approach to decentralised tech to scale.
๐ก Keep blockchain in the background, it doesn't need to be understood by everyone.
๐ก Debanking in crypto is still real for businesses and individuals.
๐ก Lots of builders in the North that want local community.
Professional photos / recordings inbound.
๐งต Some highlights ๐
Had a great time at a recent blockchain event hosted by @ColuxChain at Leeds University Union.
Really impressed by the quality of the event and the people in the room. If youโre based in Leeds and interested in blockchain development or quantitative finance, itโs definitely worth keeping an eye on what theyโre doing.
Always refreshing to connect with others in the industry who are building, thinking long-term, and focused on real innovation.
Looking forward to the next one.
๐ Congrats to @ColuxChain hosting a great first blockchain conference in Leeds.
๐จโ๐ณ Lots of chat about stablecoins, privacy, gaming and plenty of young talent cooking on Solana
