To restore the old barn, we wanted to use bat and board siding with 1 inch thick boards. Since they are hard to find, we used some trees that had been blown down in a wind storm to make our own siding.
This 100 plus year old barn would be on the ground soon if left alone. Since it is part of our heritage, we decided to restore it. Several posts are rotted off and the whole barn is leaning over. More reports later.
