The Royal Scots Greys are the oldest of our antecedent Regiments. They once journeyed to Palestine on a recruitment campaign where they displayed their famed horsemanship.
The Commanding Officer wishes to warmly congratulate Sgt Innes, AGC (SPS) on the award of a Personnel Administration Branch Commendation. “Disproportionately significant and positive impact to the AGC Detachment and to the operational effectiveness of the SCOTS DG”.
This morning the Pipes & Drums undertook a, best effort, 10 mile charity run carrying 15kg. Each participant donated £10 worth of food to a local food bank. The fastest time was LCpl Hannan in 1 hour 42 minutes.

Congratulations to Tpr Walker, SNIY Pipes and Drums on passing off as a Class 2 Piper at the Army School of Bagpipe Music & Highland Drumming yesterday. She is the first of our paired reservists to complete a course at ASBM&HD and will no doubt bring depth to the ranks.

Today marks 75 years since peace reached the Eastern Front and the world. The 3rd Carabiniers (pictured) were active in India and Burma throughout the war, including the Battle of Imphal and the fateful events of Nunshigum Ridge. We will remember them. #VJDay#VJ75
