@BaggooAlan@ChrisCillizza Exactly! America has the best dads in the world, they have been consistently filling 32 teams 53 man rosters of elite footballers, many of which are Superbowl champions.
@KingFisher1144@AlexiLalas American football and rec/club soccer already dominate these facilities year round. The $150/hr I quoted isn't even available weeknights or Saturday because it's fully reserved by a GFI Academy and league. They charge $3000 per year to participate.
@KingFisher1144@AlexiLalas This is turf with lights for 11v11, local parks generally get crowded with rec football/soccer teams because league facilities are fully rented to soccer clubs. So you cannot count on them to be available. Also local parks have no lights for evening practice.
@KingFisher1144@AlexiLalas Many/most of these teams are non-profit, many are run mostly or in part by volunteers. The costs are huge - uniforms, insurance, fields...at $50/month/kid you can barely cover the basics. You would have to have outside funding.
@scoduckz@DuragKiff I don't think you're getting the point exactly. What people are saying is that at age 11-13, the best athletes choose American Football over Soccer. They are physical freak athletes and if they spent time on soccer instead of american football then the USMNT would be better.
@RoyalBelgianFA This reads as "FIFA is breaking their own rules and protocol on a way that could negatively impact the tournament and it needs to be challenged and addressed!'
Isn't this exactly what the USMNT did as well?
@EvinKnowsBall Just watch the pad level on these 2 routes, JJ quick split release, is tall though the route and keeps his pads at the same level, quick small steps and under the body. Now rewatch JT and tell me if you think they are the same.
