The Word of God warns us about vain, repetitive religious prayers.
Jesus said:
“And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think they will be heard for their many words.” — Matthew 6:7
God is not looking for rituals, formulas, or repeated religious traditions. He is looking for a sincere heart and a real relationship.
This is why we must be careful not to turn prayer into something mechanical — whether it’s repeating the same words over and over or relying on traditions like the rosary as a formula.
Prayer was never meant to be counted on beads or repeated endlessly.
Prayer is about coming to the Father with a sincere heart, speaking to Him directly, in JESUS name.
Jesus didn’t teach religion.
He taught relationship with God.
🙏
Let’s pray,
Heavenly Father,
Before anything else, thank You for waking me up to this beautiful Friday morning and for helping me make it through this challenging week. Thank You for keeping me and my family safe and for watching over us day in and day out. Lord, we thank You for Your grace, Your faithfulness, and Your love that gives us strength, especially during these harder times. Today, I pray that You continue to be beside me and help me finish through this week.
Remove any negative thoughts and laziness from my mind and body, and remind me that with You by my side, nothing is impossible. I praise and honor You, and I dedicate this day to You. May Your Holy Spirit guide me through everything I have to do. I humbly pray that You heal and protect my family, my loved ones, and everyone reading this prayer. May You help them with all their needs and bless them with good health, healing, and financial breakthroughs. I pray that You protect us from everything sent to harm us. May You bless all of us with a beautiful Friday and a safe weekend. Please fill our hearts with Your love, happiness, and peace. We need You and love You, God. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
Friends, I am humbly requesting your prayers.
Two weeks ago, during GI surgery, my dad’s doctors discovered lymphoma tumors. They have been spreading aggressively.
Today, he started chemotherapy. He’s right next to me, currently getting his first dose of R-CHOP.
If you would pray for him, my mom, and his doctors, my family and I would be grateful.
His name is Brian and he’s the greatest man I’ve ever known.
By the grace of God and with the support of a wonderful medical team, I’m confident he will beat this.
Thank you 🙏
This is true. Always seek the Lord's help in any health struggle you have. King Asa is an example of what happens when you don't seek the Lord's help with health.
(2 Chronicles 16:12) "And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians."
Look at the very next verse.
(2 Chronicles 16:13) "¶ And Asa slept with his fathers, and died in the one and fortieth year of his reign."
When you only rely on doctors instead of God. Notice Asa disregarded the Lord regarding his health and put all his trust in doctors.
Now I'm not saying don't go to the doctor. What I am saying is that you better consult with the great Physician, Jesus Christ, before you do so to get his blessing. He literally might heal you so you don't even have to go. Who knows?
Lord God,
You see the fear inside me.
You know the thoughts that won’t stop and the worries I cannot control.
Please calm my heart.
Remove the fear that steals my peace.
Replace my anxiety with Your strength.
When I feel weak, remind me that You are with me.
When my mind imagines the worst, help me trust You with my future.
Give me courage to face what I’m afraid of.
Give me wisdom to make good decisions.
And give me peace that stays, even when situations don’t change.
I place my fear in Your hands.
Fill me with faith instead of fear.
Amen.
Heavenly Father,
Fill my heart with Your perfect love.
When I feel weak, remind me that Your love never changes.
When I feel alone, hold me close in Your presence.
Teach me to love others the way You love me.
Remove fear, doubt, and worry from my heart,
and replace them with peace and trust.
Lord Jesus, let me rest in Your love today.
Amen.
Heavenly Father,
I lift up every person who is in the hospital right now. You see their pain, their fear, and their waiting. Please surround them with Your peace and comfort.
Strengthen those who are weak. Heal those who are sick. Calm anxious hearts and give them hope for tomorrow.
Bless the doctors, nurses, and staff with wisdom, patience, and steady hands. Let Your healing power flow through every treatment and every touch.
As it is written in Psalm 23, You are our Shepherd — walk beside them through this valley and lead them toward recovery and light.
Fill every hospital room with Your presence and love.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen. 🤍
I urge you to study Ezekiel 37:1-14.
You will understand the importance of speaking into your life.
You can literally recreate your future with the words you speak, especially when you declare the WORD of GOD over any circumstances.
I charge you to start speaking to your finances, start speaking to your marriage, speak to your job, speak and declare your expectations over all that concerns you. And watch what will happen!
