$COMETAIL is live

Flat curve, starting mcap 60 SOL (~$7.2k).
The only official one. Anything else using our name isn't us. Experimental, built for the Meteora hackathon. Nothing is guaranteed.

We're making some upgrades to tail launches on COMETAIL.
Instead of just buying and burning the main token a tail is pointed at, we're adding a liquidity provision function too.
That means fees generated by a tail can help buy and burn its main token while also building liquidity for it.
We're keeping the existing graduation split unchanged.
The idea is simple: a tail shouldn't just ride on the hype of its main token. It should contribute something back to it.
More details soon.
More time on the clock ⏰
We’re extending the Clock In hackathon submission deadline to Monday 10/12 at 11:59PM UTC.
Take the weekend to polish your build, tighten your pitch, and get everything where you want it.
Make it count.
Both verified.
The $COMETAIL burn program and our tails vault are open source and verified on chain. Rebuild them yourself and check.

@blknoiz06, that flat curve you asked for? $COMETAIL just shipped it. And we didn't stop there.
We've got 6 different launch presets to choose from.

The burn is live.
Half of what COMETAIL earns now buys back $COMETAIL and burns it. All on chain.
First burn: $COMETAIL

All automated!
$COMETAIL burn program is ready on mainnet.
Setup is verified. The deployed program matches the reviewed build, with 50% hardcoded into the burn logic.
We also dry-ran all 4 launch configs:
Standard
Long
Flat
Exponential
All 4 passed byte-for-byte against the current presets, with the fee claimer being the only intended change.
Nothing has been created or switched over yet.
Next step: create the 4 configs one by one, verify each onchain, then switch the worker and site over.
Almost time to turn the burn on.
Quick update on $COMETAIL.
We were going to put a tail on $COMETAIL. We're not doing that anymore. It made things confusing, and it would have used $COMETAIL's fees to burn a different token.
So we're keeping it simple:
Half of what the platform earns from every launch on COMETAIL buys $COMETAIL and burns it. It all happens on chain, so anyone can check every burn.
More launches, more $COMETAIL burned.
We're also reworking the site to make it easier to use. Fewer steps, clearer pages.
Tails stay as a tool for creators. This change is only for $COMETAIL.
Building now. We'll share when it's live.
We built a fee market. For Meteora. @vesper792
Fee Index on cometail: see what every creator earns, find your coin, sell its future fees for SOL.
Any launchpad. One fee market. Live now.

The Fee Index is live.
Search any $SOL paired coin on @MeteoraAG bonding curve, from any launchpad, and see exactly what its creator fees are doing.
You can check:
total creator fees earned
how much is sitting unclaimed
which launchpads are generating the most creator fees
whether that coin is eligible to launch a Tail on @COMETAIL
A Tail is tied back to the main token it came from.
When a dev launches a Tail, the Tail points to their main token. Trading fees generated by that Tail are then used to continuously buy and burn the main token.
So instead of creator fees just sitting there, they can be turned into another market that feeds value back into the original coin.
If you’re a dev: find your token, check what it earns, and if it qualifies, launch a Tail around those fees.
If you’re a trader: see which tokens are actually generating fees, what’s still unclaimed, and which projects have Tails feeding buybacks and burns into the main token.
If you’re a builder: the same Fee Index data is available as a free public stream for bots, terminals, dashboards, or whatever you want to build on top of it.

Creator fee math on https://t.co/m2AtZVoKrf
Every trade pays a 1% fee. While your coin is on its curve, 60% of that is yours.
100 SOL of volume = 1 SOL in fees = 0.6 SOL to you.
After graduation you get 32% of the pool's fees, for as long as it trades.
Claim on your coin's page while it's on the curve, and on https://t.co/mrYdERI8Is after.
