when jesper fahey and wylan van eck moved into their new flat, nina and inej gifted them a whole bunch of plants to display around the house. wylan’s no good at plants compared to jesper, so wy is in charge of interior design <3

kaz brekker takes inej ghafa on picnics at the park. he brings a basket full of snacks and a small bouquet of flowers he picked for inej. inej loves it when kaz gently brushes her hair. she braids it and kaz carefully sticks flowers in between the braids <3

inej ghafa learned how to knit toques for matthias helvar. matthias is inej’s best friend and she knows that he loves to stay warm when it’s cold wherever he is, so he has a whole collection of inej’s handmade toques made just for him. nina likes to secretly borrow them too <3

jesper fahey loves to paint wylan’s nails. they sit on the roof during sunset hour and jes softly grabs wy’s hands and he giggles bc wylan is so ticklish so he gently paints on each nail. they watch the sunset in peace as they wait for wylan’s nails to dry <3

wylan van eck loves to make lemon meringue pies. wylan and his mum love to make it together and drop it off at the crow club for everyone else to share and eat. kaz usually gets his own bc wylan knows he doesn’t like sharing with anyone else <3

inej ghafa loves to go for walks in the rain w/ kaz. kaz always suggests to bring an umbrella, so they do. they talk about painting & writing, books they loved & the memories they had w/ the crows. inej loves to crack jokes to hear kaz laugh, he just loves to be her companion <3

kaz brekker loves hotels. he invites his crows to stay in one big room, all six of them forced to sleep two on one bed, 3 on the other, and kaz is on the ground with a sleeping bag. sometimes he wakes everyone up just to play tag around the hallways <3

wylan van eck loves going to the beach with jesper, nina, and matthias. wy often hangs out with matthias to build sand castles while jesper and nina chase a couple waves. once matthias and wy are done building a castle, they’ll start to build a moat around it <3

jesper fahey has wylan’s initials (wf, wylan fahey) engraved on both his guns, but no one knows that except for jesper <3

inej ghafa always asks zoya to come over to help her with the plants around her apartment. zoya teases her bc most of the plants were given to her by kaz, and some of them her parents helped her grow. zoya and inej love bonding over being plant people <3

kaz brekker and inej made a painting together for valentine’s. they took turns using whatever the colour spoke to them at the moment, and the final piece was a symbol of their joint effort and their love for each other and the world around them <3

matthias helvar asked kaz & jesper to help him set up for his valentine’s date with nina. jesper took care of the cooking, kaz was in charge of setting the table, & matthias made waffles for dessert. wy was around too, he made sure trassel was well fed + ready to surprise nina <3

jesper fahey made wylan a valentine’s card that said “we have a stronger chemical bond than any other atom out there” and wy laughed, set the card aside on his bedside table, and hugged jesper <3

kaz brekker got inej a crow brooch for her uniform at sea to remind her that she is always welcome to come back home whenever she feels like it <3

the crows played dodgeball. kaz, wy, & nina vs. inej, jes, & matthias. the game took a while, but at some point wy threw a ball & it hit jesper’s face. kaz bent down laughing, so inej took the opportunity & threw a ball at his face too. inej giggled. but nina’s team won <3

sometimes jesper fahey likes to chase wylan through a flower field. wylan always packs them a snack in his tiny little backpack, & while wy thought he was running fast, jes got a hold of his backpack handle & pulled him back only for jes to catch him and kiss his forehead <3
