A National Institutes of Health supported study has found race and sex-based differences in the increased chances of survival from people who received bystander CPR for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.
Harj Singh and Robbie Lillis have emerged as Olympic heroes after saving the life of Tulkin Kilichev who suffered a cardiac arrest on Thursday. Singh and Lillis sprang into action, performing CPR and using a defibrillator. Kilichev is now understood to be in a stable condition.
The local council in Melton Mowbray have generously donated their previous CHT defibrillator to The Unit in Melton Mowbray. This defibrillator is a fantastic safety addition to the gym! A huge thanks to the council for making this life-saving donation!
