"Lanterns finale was peak"

[Mentos42🐀 (Da Ghetto Blasta) @Mentos49079252]

It was ass.

[The Cynical Crusader @Cyn1calCrusader]

For those who don't know, this is the REAL John Stewart.

A Hero, A legend, someone that me, a white guy, looked up to as a kid.

Someone whose Green Lantern comics I collected from his inception till the 1990s and enjoyed the animated Justice League.

Oh, and FYI, this is the REAL oath...

[Steph Anie @mynerdyhome]

Lanterns is over. John helped cover up the death of earth's first Green Lantern and stole his ring

[Culture Crave 🍿 @CultureCrave]

Production on ‘The Batman 2’ has been paused

Matt Reeves has stepped away for personal reasons

Thinking about the Lanterns finale and how I’m very glad I watched football instead, no one said the actual Green Lantern oath with more oomph than Phil LaMarr.

@JNoelette already are, and people wonder why there's so much toxicity

there's no room for nuance, feedback or criticism.

Why did they do this? #GearsOfWarEDay

[Mr Know-It-All @MrKnowItAll]

Just my 2 cents

[Myke @Mykethogan]

This scene gave me the chills😭 #Lanterns

Season 2, we are definitely going to see John Stewart and Guy Gardner fight. John ATE him up so bad and completely destroyed his little ego😹
He was so shocked to see John with Hal’s ring and a Lantern to charge. I honestly loved John’s proposal, and the fact that he told Guy that Hal died a hero.

Nothing will beat THE OATH. 🟢

This movie has its flaws but you can't say they didn't embrace the source material and lore.

[nikko 🔜 CIFF @NikkoCaruso]

i know this is obvious a moment to show that fear can make anyone do anything, but after spending 7.5 episodes with Sheriff Kerry, there is nothing to convince me that she would actually do this. I am simply unable to suspend my disbelief here.

this feels like pure shock value

[Dotodoya @DotoDoya]

Lanterns is over and yeah it was pretty mid all the way through but I really liked the 3 lanterns and would watch a season 2 (but please just put these guys in an action movie)

I’m just never gonna be fully bought in on a superhero story where we barely see the powers.

[Eren | Caboose @CabooseEK]

Watched the Lanterns finale

[ComicBookTakes @ComicBookTakes]

The finale was THE perfect moment for John Stewart to say the iconic Green Lantern oath.“In brightest day, in blackest night…” carries decades of history and meaning behind it. Instead, they replaced it with a new oath that just doesn’t have the same weight.
Why skip something so iconic during the moment it would’ve meant the MOST?

[SuperDork450 @SDork450]

It doesn't make sense for Guy to be intimidated at all. The man tried to fight Superman for fuck's sake

[V @ShillofNothing]

They deadass just made Fuck You Hal Jordan: The TV Series

[Spooky Nigga @spooky_nigga]

JOHN FUCK YOU NIGGA, RACE TRAITOR PIECE OF SHIT, YOUR LETTING THE GENOCIDE BOT AND THE SCIKO MURDER MOM WALK OUT OF THIS?

NIGGA FUCK THIS, FUCK ITS FANS IF I SEE ONE NIGGA DEFEND THIS WRITING

YOUR OPINION IS AUTOMATICALY INVALID.

ANY GLAZER CAN EAT A DICK FUCK Y'ALL
