Happy to be able to reveal that the featured variant cover artist is none other than colorist Chris Sotomayor. He had never illustrated a cover before. Absolutely nailed it! What a privilege to get his "rookie card" out there on a comic I wrote! https://t.co/DvyEQoDwGm
@JosipVolarevic2@incubator@solana Vouching for Josip as an innovative A-player that is concerned with providing true value to users of his products. Seems like an obvious starting point, but I’ve never seen anyone lean into the feedback cycle as much as Josip. He wants everyone to win.
Launched this sci-fi epic on @drip_haus today! 🔗👇
Action. Adventure. Heart.

Across 6 drops.
👀 Collect em all for a shot at limited collabs from your fave artists after the series ends
🤔 For storytellers, maybe DRiP could be 'Webtoons w/ collectibles'
Don't forget that if you ever need an artist, designer, developer, video editor etc. - I can hook you up.
Got quality people in my network, experienced in building on @solana.
Especially artists. We have a bunch of them active in the @dReaderApp community.
Included our @SuperteamEarn page on the dReader linktree.
We've seen a surge of 200 artists visiting our Earn page (with art gigs) from a SINGLE post on Reddit.
The idea is to use work opportunities as top of the funnel to get creators involved with @dReaderApp.
Relatable characters are grounded in human truths we ALL share:
flaws, vulnerability, emotions, regrets, fears, desires, choices...
Filling your characters with the right truths is crucial to a memorable story.

1/ Genesis v1 is out! 🎉
What if you could get lifetime royalties for backing the next big hit like The Walking Dead or One Punch Man?
With Genesis, investors and fans can back stories - and get rewarded as the creator and their IP succeeds!

My thoughts on the indie creator economy and where I think it's heading 👇
Open to feedback in the comments! ✍️
1) Kickstarter is suboptimal
- creator is left with barely any profits (if any)
- buyers often don't connect with the creator
- campaigns are a draining process
2) Publishers are suboptimal
- don't guarantee success in distribution
- sometimes act as gatekeepers
- take % of your IP / lock your IP
On top of everything, creators live from episode to episode (whether it's a comic or an animated show).
💥 We're missing a way for creators to:
- secure capital to build the full series consistently
- get distribution before the content is even made
- incentivize their community/followers
The solution lies in a crowdfunding platform which allows you to raise more money with less overhead, while forming a community around your IP.
🥚 Enter @GenesisDotApp
- acts as an IP incubator
- tokenizes the IP & enables everyone to get involved
- aligns your followers (amplified via bag bias)
- no need for presales like on Kickstarter
- raise capital for the full series, not for a single episode
- raise capital in the very early phases (concept art)
I have more thoughts but ultimately - I believe creators will initially resist the new model because they'll compare it to the existing (dysfunctional) models and have a hard time understanding the economic moat.
Creators will have to start thinking of their IPs as startups which need to raise capital and dilute their IP to get investors aligned.
Diluting their IP ownership at that point won't be a bug but a feature.
