Revisiting the Marvels and Mayhem of Comic Books

[comicscans @comicscans1]

I'd love if you would check out my website devoted to the nostalgia of comic books ads.

If you read comics in the '70s, '80s and '90s, it's sure to be a fun trip down memory lane.

@RetroMoviesDB Raiders!

[comicscans @comicscans1]

@PunisherHQ I think I'm good taking your advice on this one. Nothing about it sounds appealing.

[comicscans @comicscans1]

@PunisherHQ Thanks. I didn't read that run but it sounds like I didn't miss much.

[comicscans @comicscans1]

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Yup! You had to have a special case to carry it so all buttons wouldn't get pushed in your pocket.

@RinoTheBouncer I started on an NES, followed by Sega Genesis. My first Playstation was #1. Unfortunately my last was #3 and will likely stay that way for a long while.

[comicscans @comicscans1]

@1GamewithDave1 Sega Genesis probably had the most impact on me followed by Playstation. TONS of hours poured into both of those systems.

[comicscans @comicscans1]

@1GamewithDave1 I eventually ended up with both but I was a Playstation fan first.

@bentley175 @AaronMeyers My immediate thought as well.

The legendary Peter David unfortunately passed a few days ago. I just realized I had scanned this a while back - a bio for him from 1988. Kinda fun write-up...

Wish his family, friends and fans all the love as they deal with his loss.
