President Jomo Kenyatta planted the seed of “Sycophantic Presidential Loyalty Tree (SPLT)” in which to express loyalty to the President, one had to humiliate the Vice President. This expression of fealty to the President has continued from 1966 to-date. During his Presidential Campaigns, then Deputy President William Ruto promised to end this charade & cut down the SPLT! Not even two years into his Presidency, people that want to express “LOYALTY “ to President William Ruto by humiliating Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua; even very junior politicians & very junior civil servants. Kenya politics has confused FALSE LOYALTY to PATRIOTISM. A Country can only be transformed by transcendental Genuine Patriotism that is above transient transactional, tribal & parochial politics that Kenya is. Kenya will truly transform the day we love Kenya above paid politics of the day.
