On April 25, 2026, ahead of the second phase of forthcoming WBLA -26 elections, the DG CRPF accompanied by CAPF and police personnel ,led an intensive ,coordinated and highly visible route march and Confidence Building Measure (CBM) across Nodakhali in the Diamond Harbour Police District.During the CBM, the DG engaged directly with local residents to foster a sense of safety and encourage a high voter turnout for a free, fair, and peaceful election. The DG directed all CAPF and Police officials to implement comprehensive security protocols, prioritizing a secure and violence-free environment for all voters.

In view of polling duty's preparation, ​DG #CRPF Shri G. P. Singh, IPS, visited the B/214 camp (Adhoc 340) at JCC Law College, Kolkata. He reviewed security arrangements and briefed troopers on strictly following ECI guidelines to ensure impartial and diligent polling duty.

As we celebrate #WorldEarthDay today, it reminds us of our duty towards Mother Earth. It is heartening to share with you that in January 2020 the MHA decided to undertake a nationwide plantation drive through our CAPFs. Under this mission all the 7 CAPFs with their total strength of 9.69 lakh personnel planted 7 crore saplings in the last six years, making our planet a bit more green. No matter what role we are in, our contributions make the difference we want to see.
