The #Commanders have hired Steve Wilks to work with the defensive coaches under Dan Quinn and Daronte Jones, per me and @RapSheet. The decision to hire Wilks was made last month. He started last week.

Wilks will help with game planning. He won't be with the team on game days.

They showed middle field closed pre snap and he didn’t budge. A cover 2 CB wouldn’t have bailed that quick on AW.

@ChadwikoTWW This is the play design. The DT timed the count perfect and John Bates had the reaction time of a sloth. The play is run around the league it was just a quick play by the DT.

Pre snap Alignemnt from the defense is one high middle field closed. That automatically takes a post out of the read. The safety didn’t get depth which makes him open but Jayden was never looking there.
