It should be confined ONLY within the halls of Congress and the Senate. During debates and sessions only. Why? This FORCES debate rather than backroom deals.

But more importantly, it prevents Democrats and RINOs from going in front of cameras or taking to social media and BLATANTLY lying and misrepresenting facts.

Ergo, elected leaders are intentionally deceiving and manipulating the people they are supposed to represent and creating the very friction that causes this violence we've seen coming from the Left.

It must stop. People should not be allowed to wilfully lie or decive from their public office.

And honestly, just from reading the speech and debate clause, this seems like a perversion of what was intended. When these things were written into law, they did not have cellphones, social media and television cameras.

This needs to stop. I think it will solve a LOT of problems.
