Here's what we've been up to:
Disgusting. We knew exactly what it meant when Governor Polis let Tina Peters walk... the next chapter of her relentless campaign to discredit our election system begins today!
NEW: Tina Peters, newly freed by Colorado Gov Jared Polis (D), begins her MAGA media tour by telling Steve Bannon that Democrats are cheating on elections and she was imprisoned as retribution for exposing voting machines that flip votes.
Actions have consequences. Tina Peters is facing just consequences for the serious crimes she committed.
24,000+ Common Cause members in Colorado demand she continue to be held accountable.
We filed ethics complaints against 17 Colorado legislators after an interest group paid $25k for their resort retreat — where lobbyists got exclusive access to influence them.

📊 The results of our September poll are in: Donald Trump's own supporters don't want him to rig the maps. Congress should grow a spine and listen to the people. Full results: https://t.co/HJ69KsMvAz
Tina Peters was convicted by a jury of her peers, and is serving a prison sentence for her crimes. I will not be intimidated by the Trump Administration’s threats. Colorado will always stand for the rule of law, even when the President refuses to do so.

After careful review, we found CA meets 6/6 of our fairness criteria—covering racial equity, public participation, and more. TX on the other hand meets 0/6 criteria.
We will always fight for fair maps, fair representation, and people-powered democracy in every state.
In Congress, I’m working to fight corruption.
Held a roundtable with @StopBigMoney & @JonTester about how we can get dark money out of politics, take on special interests, and make sure government is working for everyday folks—not just the wealthy.
We just passed the Colorado Voting Rights Act!
In this time of uncertainty and national instability, Colorado is paving a different path by acting on its own to strengthen our right to vote.
"In this time of uncertainty and national instability, Colorado can act on its own to strengthen the right to vote for Coloradans."
Our Executive Director, Aly Belknap, writes about how the CO Voting Rights Act meets this moment by protecting our vote.

🚨Here's what comes next:
💜 LWVCO was proud to stand with our coalition partners at the Capitol to support SB001! Together, we urged legislators to vote YES on this crucial bill to protect every Coloradan’s right to vote.
Thank you @CommonCauseCO, our partners, & bill sponsors for leading the charge!
