Lots of shouts about LH insurance commissions. There are 2 issues which need to be separated
1. New legislation must make these transparent so CMNholders know the total MA fees
2. issue for the courts on whether historical fee can be claimed
DO NOT MIX THESE AS IT WILL SLOW 1
3/Application of Principles
*Disclosure of comm* FH or MA to be required to disclose comm earned.
* Insurance premiums need to be reviewed for fairness and transparency.
*Redress for LH* LH who is overcharged or misled may be entitled to compensation
2/Similarities
*Lack of transparency* LH not be aware of commissions earned by MA or FH.
*Unfair terms* LH contracts may contain unfair terms that allow FH or MA to profit from comm without adequate services.
*Overcharging* LH may be overcharged due to excessive comm.
@HarryScoffin @joedd90 Lazy fake news. Get the actual economic growth vs %flats and you will not find a fit, let alone a causal one. Get rid of leasehold but not by making up stuff.
@FreeLeasehlders There is no causal link here. Flat % does not link to economic growth. Get rid of leasehold but stop making up links (do your homework!)
@HarryScoffin @joedd90 @UKLabour@FreeLeasehlders Transparency is key. Move to RTM or future Commonhold and control your costs. Who wrote this long winded “article” that just repeats the current situation but does not push clear transparency as a goal? Stop SHOUTING and support real policy ideas.
@jamesjohnson252@MDC12345678@Channel4News@JLPartnersPolls A sample of 16 people isn’t going to have any statistical relevance.
Get real, most people who don’t vote in one election don’t vote in the next, most people vote the same right/left/centre in every election.
Lazy or disinformation?. Difficult to tell.
No numbers. Bats away reasonable questions. Tries to take it off line. Classic false facts.

@eastender99 If you enfranchise or go commonhold YOU make the decisions , including who your managing agent is. Not good value = move to another one. Simple.
