@c0nflicx @EricLDaugh So SNAP recipients should only be able to shop 27% of a grocery store then? because it's been documented that 73% of grocery stores are processed food. That doesn't seem fair. Also, meat, cheese, eggs are expensive, so that leaves just fruits and vegetables I guess.

@KhyvaZ @EricLDaugh it's for the homeless and people without access to a kitchen like in shelters, SRO's. They can't store anything in a fridge or cook anything. Have some empathy. Also, the reason your tax dollars are being used is because corporations won't pay living wages.

@EricLDaugh Generally you can use EBT at some restaurants if you can prove you are homeless because you don't have access to a stove, microwave or fridge. Also, many people live in SRO's that don't have kitchens either.

@GavinNewsom MAGA grew up where if the fell and scraped their knee and began to cry, their parents would call them cry babies and say suck it up buttercup and pull yourself up by the bootstraps. So, it's generations of zero empathy and compassion. Hopefully someone will break the cycle.
