I'm only going to say this once since I have limited time to defend myself. There is a slander that is being repeated with a video taken out of context that I stated that it is okay to have sex with 5 year olds. I said the exact opposite. I was speaking to a person who rejects hadith and stated that if you do not accept the hadith it is easy to come to this conclusion. Having said this, both Sunni and Shia Muslims DO NOT accept only the Quran but believe in the Quran and HADITH. My view, as stated in the video, is that people should get married when they are capable both mentally and physically and that this is understood through specialists like doctors. The modern day idea that adulthood starts at 16 or 18 is an arbitrary social construct. Having said this, I do not advocate that anyone break the law in any country that they are in and get married before these ages.
