I want to congratulate Alderman Taliaferro on his re-election.
While the results weren’t what we had worked to achieve, as a first time candidate at the age of 25 what a ride this has been.

Thank you to everyone who supported me in the 29th Ward and beyond. Your support gave me the energy to continue to fight for your support each and every day.

While the campaign may have ended, this isn’t the end of my work and service in our community. Together we can still achieve hope and change in the 29th Ward and beyond.

👋🏾Recently, I traveled on a historic bus trip “When Black Wall Street Meets Soul City” with the Austin African American Business Network Association.

Tulsa, Oklahoma is a special place for me and my family.

It is my ancestors who were apart of the vibrant, resilient and prosperous Black Wall Street district in Tulsa. Those who lost everything during the 1921 Tulsa Massacre.

What a great way to kick off the weekend by marching in the annual Puerto Rican People’s Day Parade with friends, neighbors and dignitaries! Grateful to join such a vibrant and historic Puerto Rican community, and grateful to @Ward26Chicago for the welcome.

This weekend I attended Black Wall Street meets Soul City with the Austin African American Business Networking Association.

Traveling by bus to the Historic Greenwood District in Tulsa, Oklahoma was a range of emotions.

During our trip, we signed documentation and presented legislation, drafted by State Rep LaShawn Ford, adopted by the Illinois House of Representatives, committing ourselves to both building and supporting a strong foundation for black economics.

Thank you to @ChicagosMayor for signing an Executive Order on his first day in office, allocating more resources for youth employment in the City of Chicago 📝‼️

The 29th Ward Youth Council is looking forward to more opportunities to educate, empower, and employ our youth. 🙏🏾

We are working diligently with the 29th Ward Alderman who has committed to creating a youth council that will bring more resources to engage our young people

Last night a 13 year old boy was shot, in front of the park, in the same spot where I stood when I was campaigning.

It could have easily been me.

This is why I decided to get involved and bring more opportunities to our young people.

For me and Sierra to be back in the space we met, so much further than where we started, it brought me tears of joy.

Last night, Sierra and I, served as the KEYNOTE Speakers at the 2023 Concordia University Chicago Student Athlete Awards Banquet.

Sierra & Northwestern Mutual, announced the 2023 Northwestern Mutual Athletic Leadership award winner, prior to my address.

I’ve always dreamed of the moment where I would be able to go back to the same place where I received my degree. The same place I played college football for 4 years. The same place I met the love of my life and continue to positively impact peoples lives.
