With support from the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation, students will also take part in the 11-week LEAD initiative, helping them develop critical leadership skills.
This new space, designed by our founder @joefreshgoods, is a creative hub where students from 4th to 8th grade can explore art, fashion, and leadership through hands-on workshops and after-school programs.
Following the success of last year’s Open Goods Market, we are excited to announce the launch of our latest project, the Creative Community Co-Lab, in partnership with the @nhlblackhawks and @sudermontessoricps.
Every donation directly supports furthering our mission and vision of expanding art education in Chicago. Please consider donating today through our link in bio.
Your support means the world to us 🙏🏾✨

Community is the backbone of change. We lean on each other to make a difference.
On #GivingTuesday, we embrace the power of being that change and creating a safe haven for those who need support.
"Fashion is my #1 priority, in my everyday life.
This is what I do.
Joe is a huge inspiration to me. After he gave me the opportunity to be on his set for his latest collection, I feel like I saw a glimpse into my future.” - Sanaa
We hope to continue providing mentorship and creative-led workshop opportunities to youth in Chicago. Immersive experiences like these help open the possibilities of career paths and opportunities in the creative world.
One of our core goals is to increase exposure to arts education and creative experiences.
We recently connected one of our @MClarkEagles Fashion Incubator students with the @JoeFreshgoods team for a hands-on experience on the set of his “Beneath The Surface”campaign photoshoot

“I’m a born and raised West Sider, and I want these kids to have the chance to dream as big as I did. I know that seeing their faces getting excited got me more excited.”

In positive news, @JoeFreshgoods teamed up with the @NHLBlackhawks & Michele Clark Prep Magnet High School through his @community_goods Non-Profit to open “Open Goods Market”, an incentive-based store that rewards kids for good grades & behavior in exchange for points they can redeem for exclusive supplies, merchandise & sneakers. This is what it’s all about.
