@neen10105@chilternrailway On your ticket does it give you a route validity or anythinf like that? If it says any permitted then changing at Dorridge for WMR is completely fine, it only becomes an issue if it says WMR & LNR ONLY or Chiltern Only etc
@neen10105@chilternrailway Where does it say ticket acceptance is in place? That screenshot just shows you a journey, says nothing about your particular ticket
@SpeedySticks007@davwheat_@chilternrailway@CrossCountryUK They have entirely different systems, it won't surprise you to discover Chiltern's are older than XC, but also they are very separate companies for legal reasons. If you've noticed the 'by Arriva' went quite a while ago, so it just doesn't work that way.
@ChimeWhistle The company have a lot to answer for though, they used to have a shared (with Virgin, an was) standalone backup control room at Birmingham International, they decided not to maintain it
@drawmytown Whilst some work to their accommodation is completed, NWR are still keen for it to be some kind of retail unit, although it is wasted space currently.
@drawmytown The original plan was for it to either be a retail unit or bar, however when assessed it was established it couldn't hold the weight of fridges etc owing to what's underneath (the New St tunnels), so there was no interest, I believe the train crew are moving in temporarily
@christophlander@chilternrailway Genuine question, what difference do you think it will make? It will be the same staff, same trains. When the MD goes the person taking over on an interim basis is somebody in the Senior management team anyway.
@mitchell_hurd@GrammarGirl1991@chilternrailway There is a local 'reboot' they can try, it rarely succeeds, especially in this weather, as the system shuts off when it reaches 31ยบ apparently, it's more so they can say they tried, they will then also say it should kick in when you get going, that also rarely happens.
@chilternrailway@emma__winter You know this almost NEVER happens right? I'm told that they cut-out at a certain temperature and you're waiting for them to be modded to prevent that, and that you also inhibit the fault status so it doesn't show as a fault to the driver.
@ChimeWhistle The trouble here is, I travel on Chiltern a lot, it's less than 50% of the time I see a TM coming through the train and even then it is quite often a small group of the same ones, they don't help themselves in that respect.
@chilternrailway@GoSenna@WestMidRailway As per your own website, e-bikes are allowed, e-scooters are not, so quite what you're raising with the station management I'm not sure.
