@Swoon_Jon @jonnyelwyn I was thinking of the same idea too. My only add is to be able to link to secondary story lines, so if I have a title over pictures I can link a sound effects to the title not the picture on the primary story line.

@chrisfenwick Roles based mixer… I been wanting that since they introduced roles I thought it was the most obvious thing in the world for them to do next but we are still waiting. I guess it actually quite a hard thing to program and maybe would require a complete rewrite of FCP.

[Bill Jones @CompanyBill]

@chrisfenwick The fact that you could go to NAB with just a phone and film interviews is just amazing. And the “glamour” well I agree not much of that in the packing of kit but if they can make it easer with the expensive kit then lucky them.

@MKBHD Is that 30fps Drop Frame or 30fps Non-Drop Frame?

@tvaziri @Alex4D When my dad Terry Jones, directed Eric the Viking he said they spent a day hiking up a mountain to shoot half of the cave scene with Robin Williams and Eartha Kitt and the other half on a sound stage. The on location shots look like bad blue screen and the studio shot looked real

@RichardTaylorTV @RippleTraining @Apple @FMC_Conferences @NABShow @Digital_Anarchy @SuperMeets I don’t know why but I love these photo/videos of me shooting you and you shooting me.

[Bill Jones @CompanyBill]

@MKBHD This looks like my timelines when I used Avid Media Composer. Not sure why you prefer this way of editing but would be grate to see a The Studio video about it. I find it interesting to see how other edit.

[Bill Jones @CompanyBill]

@RichardTaylorTV @Apple What’s strange is it says you can’t connect the 4 TB ports with TB3 but I read that you can on a 2020 M1 MacBook Air. Or was I misled and you can’t? I have the hub and will have to check once I am back in the office.

[Bill Jones @CompanyBill]

@RichardTaylorTV @Blackmagic_News @Apple Avid Media Composer has a very similar short cut, hit “H” and it zoom in very close in the timeline hit it again and it returns you to the zoom level as before. I still miss this short cut.

Alright, I'll be giving away this $10,000 Gucci XBox to a follower who retweets this in the next 24 hours. I'll ship it anywhere on earth. Good luck.

Here's what's inside: https://t.co/Mung64czZs

[Bill Jones @CompanyBill]

@RichardTaylorTV @Apple So I have checked the LaCie drive again using the other TB port on the drive and now it is working on both the Intel iMac and the M1 MBA. Both these computers are on Big Sur. So next step is to test Monterey on both computers, on external drive.

[Bill Jones @CompanyBill]

@RichardTaylorTV @Apple I have just update my intel iMac to Big Sur and the LaCie drive doesn’t mount there. I need to double check the drives not faulty if your drive work on your Mac Pro. I have have to leave work now so no more testing for the day.
